Big Band Playlist: This playlist can be very deceiving because of its name and what most people associate with the “Big Band” genre. The name will probably throw them off until they tune in and realize how different it is and the variety it brings. One must remember that Jazz Con Class Radio concentrates on Jazz from approximately the early 50s to the early 80s so the 30’s “swing bands” are not included. You will hear more improvisation and more “Live” concert performances that would include many well-known Jazz legends collaborating and creating historic works of art. This playlist will also include Afro-Cuban orchestras and Dixieland Jazz bands as well. There will be quite a variety of Jazz music to hear, you’re going to love it!
