Hello Jazz Con Class Radio listeners and welcome to this year’s “2026 Jazz Aficionado Fundraiser.” It’s April Fool’s Day and as many of you already know, this is when the yearly fundraiser begins. It will remain with us either until the last day of the year (when it officially ends) OR it could successfully terminate “immediately” when the goal is completely met (anytime before 12/31/2026). This year broadcasting promises to be my most productive yet, the standard we all should strive for. This year also marks the 15th year of broadcasting Jazz Con Class Radio, and marks another milestone achieved. This could have never been possible without the support of the listeners throughout the years! This 2026 year has started in a complicating manner for us all and will most certainly be full of more stubborn financial hurdles that always seem to keep me busy. I experience an overwhelming amount of financial pressure every year, and have found it harder to “keep up” with the rising expenses. As for my everyday radio operations, they remain the same, all because of my work ethics, they surely help me cope.

My obligations and responsibilities mount up with every new “Jazz Aficionado” who decide to become part of this “global underground” movement! Jazz Con Class Radio exists in order to provide its listeners the highest quality Jazz music, and ensure this music is preserved for the future! I”m more experienced than ever and better prepared to resolve the complex situations that arise. I am constantly broadcasting in real-time, hands-on. Monitoring listener behavior is a never-ending, essential part of improving the broadcast experience. While last year’s 2025 fundraiser unfortunately fell short of its financial goal, the listener side is much more promising than ever.
