I would like to wish ALL you loyal Jazz Con Class Radio listeners a very happy and safe “2022” New Year. Thanks for being so demanding and persistent, it has helped me  work harder to provide you, the listeners, with the best possible broadcast. It takes time but I feel I have improved quite a bit since I started. Well, I should have because it’s been 10 years today when Jazz Con Class Radio started. It was very challenging and expensive to have an internet before 2011  radio station. Not to mention, in a technological sense, it was just becoming feasible to have many listeners listening at one given moment. The “bandwidth” set the price and was the main concern for a broadcaster who was also known as a webcaster. That was the main concern for my first full year until technology caught up with “speed’ and the ability to have more listeners tuning in at the same time became affordable. The other obstacle was finding the most reasonable manner, monetarily, to broadcast legally.

THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY T-SHIRTS ARE COMING SOON !

Jazz Con Class Radio was on its way and now after 10 years, it is still broadcasting in the same exact manner I always wanted it to be, commercial free. Very easy to say, but unfortunately no means to make any sort of profit. So that’s when I began the fundraisers, a reason to stay afloat. It was beneficial for the listeners and certainly justifiable to be allowed to broadcast the most rich musical art form ever known and performed by the best musicians that ever walked this planet. This is the only format to go with broadcasting Jazz music, there’s no other way. This way is a very beneficial form for the listeners to have the ability to hear the music of these amazing individuals. Stay on top here and prepare yourself for real exciting news concerning the 10 anniversary. Thank you all for listening to Jazz Con Class Radio throughout all the years and most importantly, for keeping Jazz ALIVE!

NOTE: The Jazz Con Class Radio 10th Anniversary T-Shirts are coming soon, keep checking the “Official T-Shirt” link!

"Since I discovered this station by chance I listen most every day. The music is eclectic and covers the wide spectrum of Jazz from New Orleans style through the Avant Garde to solid fusion. I was a jazz programmer for 12 years and I have to admit that on this station I have heard recordings by band leaders such as, Charlie Mingus, Joe Zawinul, Donald Byrd, Duke Ellington, Abbey Lincoln, Charlie Hayden, Art Blakey, Billie Holiday, Chick Corea and many other pressings that I did not know existed. The station has been an education to me. i thought I knew it all, but I'm now humbled by the quality, width and depth of the programing. This is an excellent site for beginners and old fogies like me. Thank you Jose!"
