I chose to make an over HOUR Podcast as a tribute to three relatively unknown Jazz musicians that contributed so much to the development of Jazz in the early 50’s but unfortunately passed away before achieving any real notoriety. These Three Greats that I featured were Serge Chaloff, Joe Maini and Ernie Henry! This podcast provides the listeners with an essential head start to further learn more about the talent level of these special musicians. It will give you a basic foundation so you could learn more, your excitement level will rise up considerably with the examples I present here. Of Course, the most effective manner would be by way of music, so I prepared Three tracks for EACH of these greats and you will definitely not be disappointment!

I know there are many here who are very familiar with Serge Chaloff, Joe Maini and Ernie Henry but I also am equally as sure that there are many who aren’t.  For one reason or another, it doesn’t really matter and I don’t blame anyone for not being aware. It was a combination of too many things developing throughout the 50’s in Jazz and simply too much to little documented on all that was happening during this revolution of music. This podcast will help you get around it all and place a better focus/understanding on the enormous contributions they made and unfortunately will show you how much of an impact they would have made if their careers didn’t suddenly end. The music of these three greats broadcasts 24 hours/7 days a week on Jazz Con Class Radio. This is why it is a very unique Jazz station and why its “NOT” just all that Jazz. Please take a listen to this podcast, you’ll find it very self explanatory as you learn more of these three Jazz greats. Enjoy! This is my official 1st podcast and it deals with Bebop. It is also an example of how (the length) all my podcasts will be, just a little taste of Jazz Con Class Radio. There are many Jazz fanatics out there, young and old, who just are not familiar with Jazz Con Class Radio and this might entice them enough to take a listen. BUT there are many who simply have no choice and that’s one of the main reasons why Jazz Con Class Radio exists. I chose my first podcast to feature Bebop and for a good reason. I found through email exchanges that the younger crowd, here in America and around the world tend to pickup on Bebop faster, I don’t know exactly why but they love it! I found that it is a great starting point and further helps build their interest level to love it even more. I hope it will for you, ENJOY!
